Sierra Monitor Corporation, a California corporation, was founded in 1978 to design and develop hazardous gas monitoring devices for protection of personnel and facilities in industrial work places. The Company has also developed, and continues to develop, various industrial instruments used to monitor and control environments and to enable communication between industrial devices, such as gas detection systems, building automation systems, programmable logic controllers and various analytical systems and sensing devices.
